You ever get the feeling that…

some people would rather see you fail, than see you accomplish a common goal?

your ideas are not taken seriously; worse yet, are written-off?

you may have placed yourself in a world that values few of the things you truly consider to be important?

being finished is better than doing well?

shallow merits, titles, and misguided effort are more important and more richly rewarded than developing intelligence and problem-solving skills?

...I’ve got a feeling.

In their quest to accumulate knowledge, didn’t they learn that placing value on knowledge accumulation is a sign of a feeble foundation? Instead, spend time exercising your mind by understanding and learning underlying concepts, and making a few synaptic connections.

A colleague said, “The grass is always greener on the other side.” Maybe he’s right. In the worst case, I could be chastised for not settling on poisonous soil. In the best case, I see a paradise that is only shown to those who seek it.
