Thanksgiving was a nice break this year, even if the eleven hour trip was a little long. My Uncle Joe, his wife Lori, and their kids, Sam and Ann, joined us for Thanksgiving Day. It was nice to see my cousins for sure, since I haven’t seen Ann since she was very small, and this was the first time I had ever even met Sam. I didn’t get as much reading done as I would have liked, but for the most part it was a much-needed relaxing vacation. It was good to see my folks and siblings, since it has been a while for them as well.
